I’m cranky today. Snow on either side of our driveway is piled about crotch-high, the remains of numerous snowfalls since the beginning of the year. This winter in the Twin Cities has already been one of the snowiest of all time. Yet the weather service predicts two FEET more snow during the next three days.
I’ve lived in Minnesota all my life so this is not terribly surprising. But by this time in February I CRAVE COLOR! So to avoid sharing my crabbiness, and in the hope that you could use some color too–even those of you in warmer climates–I will fill this post with bright hues instead of more words. Not nature photos because they make me even more cranky right now, but random acts of gaudy art.
I love your crankiness!
Thanks for making me smile Becca!
Anne, I have to say that your art is so much more than color! They have emotion, motion, and joy all at once!
I’m glad you think so, Leslie–thanks!
All of this gorgeous color is just what I needed today!! Thank you!!
So glad Kate!
Great idea! I’ll try to share one too.

Doesn’t seem to have worked Susan…I love that you are doing colorful art too?
No it was just clip art lol. If you cut and paste just the link it should work

I still couldn’t get it to work…probably just my problem. Anyway, thanks for the thought!
You made me smile this morning. Your colors are all in such wonderful whirling motion — even the “still life” fruit is not still. Thanks.
Nothing absolutely still in this world I guess…
I enjoyed the colors, squiggles and wiggles. It makes me happy. Thanks
Yay! Thanks Nancy.
